Division of Innovation Economics and Development
The Division of Innovation Economics and Development conducts theoretical
and empirical research on innovation, economic transformation, and development
issues in Vietnam and around the world. The Division examines the institutional
frameworks, policy mechanisms, and resource mobilization strategies that
promote innovation and strengthen national and regional innovation systems.
It
also studies emerging economic trends, new economic paradigms, and
transformative economic models, while assessing and forecasting the impacts of
technological innovation on economic development. In addition, the Division
undertakes comparative research on the experiences of Vietnam and other
countries in fostering innovation and adapting to emerging and disruptive
economic trends, with the aim of providing evidence-based policy
recommendations for sustainable and inclusive development.
