Division of Microeconomics and Enterprise Development

The Division of Microeconomics and Enterprise Development conducts research on the economic behavior of individuals, households, and enterprises, as well as on market structures, firms, and industrial organization across different sectors of the economy. The Division provide in-depth analyses of productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness at the firm, industry, and market levels.

It also examines and evaluates the impacts of economic conditions, institutional frameworks, and public policies on the behavior and decision-making of individuals and households. In addition, the Division conducts research on enterprise development policies, market development, industrial organization, competition policy, and antitrust regulation.

The Division applies modern quantitative methods and economic modeling techniques to analyze issues related to the behavior of individuals, households, enterprises, and industries, providing evidence-based insights to support policymaking and sustainable economic development.
